2023 – 2024 statistics on the RADE programme at a glance

At a glance:

RADE can accommodate 21 participants (4 Support workers, 16 participants, and one housekeeper all on a CE Scheme, funded by The Department of Social Protection)


The following represent stats compiled by the Rehab Team for the year Aug 2023 – Aug 2024:

  • 11 participants and 3 support workers are on C.E. programme currently
  • RADE currently has a total of 8 participants on RADEs pre-entry/voluntary programme 
  • RADE currently has 3 C.E. Support Staff-Rehab team 
  • RADE currently has 2 HSE Support-Staff-Rehab team 
  • RADE currently has 2 CE Supervisors and 1 Director
  • Current gender breakdown in RADE: Male 10 : Female 4

Referrals are accepted through GPs, social workers, key workers, counsellors and probation workers. Assessments are facilitated on-site

Employment/Work experience: 

  • 1 CE participant has maintained on-going work as an events steward at various event location in Dublin
  • 1 CE Participant maintained regular work with Celtic Casting Agency as a film extra in several movies and TV shows
  • 1 CE Participant maintained regular work as a Yoga and Breath Work Facilitator
  • 1 CE Participant worked as Peer Worker and Co Facilitator in Ana Liffey’s Recovery Programme
  • 1 CE participant maintained on-going work with an events catering company
  • 2 CE Support Workers’ secured a role as a full time keyworker with 2 addiction and recovery projects in the Dublin area
  • 1 CE Support Worker has maintained on-going part-time employment with an Irish Homeless Agency

Counselling service:

There continued to be an excellent take up for counselling with 90% attendance over the period August 2023 – August 2024

1 Addiction Counselor and 1 Holistic counsellor have been working with 5 RADE participants over this period. We currently have a list of 2 participants waiting to avail the counseling services
